About Me:

I was widowed 7years ago after 38 years of marriage . I have 2 children who flew the nest a long time ago and 1 grand-daughter.I have recently joined an art class and thoroughly enjoy it, I also like writing poetry. I have my own home and car but do not travel far as I hate motorways. I was born and bred in Birmingham and my brothers and sister live in Wales and Somerset so we are a bit spread out.I like holidays abroad in the sun but hey! whats wrong with England? I consider myself a young 65 and like to keep myself smart and active. I tend do dress in a young style ( not a shawl and tweed skirt) mostly jeans or trousers. I like to keep my mind active by doing a lot of puzzles and crosswords.

Ideal Partner:

I am initially looking for friendship, perhaps some-one like me who has lost their partner and feels a large void in their life. A kind and considerate person who is a good listener aswell as a talker, there is nothing better than putting the world to rights. Then who knows what will happen from there ' que sera sera'
