Remaining Hopeful

About Me:

I wonder if anyone on here has ever found this easy? If you're too nice about yourself, you sound arrogant. If you play it down, you might make yourself sound unappealing.

The words I picked from the Profile Wizard were ... cheerful, affectionate, friendly, open-minded, happy ... (but obviously not always THAT happy! otherwise why would I be here, lol).

So, I have short(ish) hair (but not "cropped"). I'm usually clean shaven, unless you have the misfortune to see me on a Sunday morning! I have a medium build. I'm just normal, really. I'm not "Brad Pitt on a good day" but, by the same token, I don't look like I've just come from a Halloween party.

Crikey ... picking your hair colour from the preset options is more challenging than I expected! My hair's not really Brown any more, because of all the grey bits. But, if I choose Grey, then the preset description is White/Grey, which I'm not. I'm brown(ish) ... in the right light (meaning subdued) ... but, otherwise, sort of grey(ish).

Like most of us here, I'm married. We get on okay, but more as friends. I miss the fun bit, the cheeky and flirty bit, and the intimate bit. I'm probably hoping that you won't be interested in any of that. I'm guessing we're not here to meet someone who is going to spend their time whingeing about their other half.

Anyway, I suppose I'm remaining hopeful that I'm not the only person who feels like I do.

I'm 5'10" (or 1.80m), which I'm told is "average". I'm not in bad shape. I run a lot. Okay, a "bit". I go to the gym two or three times a week. Oh, and I do a weekly aerobics class called "Grit". Having said which, if you saw me after doing it, you wouldn't think "What a fit and sexy guy" ... you'd think "Should I call this guy an ambulance?"

Dress wise, I might be in a suit, or jeans and a casual jacket, something like that.

Ideal Partner:

I suppose I'd like to meet someone who is easy going, and fun. If you enjoy food, and music, and drinking wine, and flirty texting, it would be a bonus. But I'm flexible and open minded.
