I would describe myself as:

adventurous, active, ambitious, articulate, artistic, cultured, creative, affectionate, sensuous, cheerful, confident, considerate, courteous, dependable, educated, energetic, enthusiastic, financially secure, friendly, fun-loving, generous, gregarious, happy, imaginative, intelligent, kind, laid-back, open-minded, passionate, rebellious, reliable, sociable, successful, warm, witty. I'm self employed and fairly successful and can travel if needed. I'm often described as a maverick, which I take as a compliment although I'm not sure it's always meant as one! I'm a bit of a rocker at heart, but I love all types of music from classical to jazz/blues. I love fast cars- a bit of a boy racer to be honest, but then I always have been! I enjoy reading- anything from interesting magazine articles to reference books and a good thriller. I'm quite easy going and don't make demands of other people, just looking to enjoy someone's company. I like to think of myself as a gentleman, but I guess you would be the judge of that. I'm here because I feel boxed in and feel life has more to offer! I'm early 50s but told I look younger, shoulder length blonde/light brown hair, blue eyes, approx 5'10", slim/athletic build, smart casual dresser. like to smell good!, I take care of myself & my appearance but not OTT. I'm told my eyes & my smile are my best features, but it's all in the eye of the beholder of course!

I'm looking for someone who is:

I don't want lots of 'flings' or one night stands, I'm just looking for that one special lady. I'm not sure I have a type as such, though I like to have my mind stimulated! I guess I'm looking for excitement, fun & friendship- a bit of an escape perhaps? I'm as happy in a pub as a nice restaurant, a cinema or a theatre.
