Ideal Partner:

I have been single for just over a year, after a very long term relationship(20+ years). The only relationship I have been in really. No dramas, no trauma, it was simply over and we parted as the friends which we still are these days.

Shortly before it ended, I joined this site. Without knowing what, I knew then I needed something, someone. Now, being a single girl n all, I am (clearly!) still here, but on a different basis, with a different list of requirements. Is this the best place for me to be? I feel/assume my singleton status places me in the minority, and limits my options. I want someone just for me, not someone I have to share. Someone to sweep me up, up and away and with whom I can develop and share the normal healthy adult relationship that I have not really experienced before now. Onwards and forwards, no moping over what has passed me by.
