About Me:

This is a hard one. Should you lay out all your faults or let someone discover them. Some bones anyhow. I am 62, 1.65m & 75kg. I have one son, possess my own house, transport & marbles. Semi retired, a reasonably literate non-smoker though not particularly set on meeting another non smoker. I drink only occasionally but when I do I'd prefer to get (mildly !) drunk , not to have 1 glass of red with dinner. My interests include .; why people do what they do & making broken things work again; . I am to the point & sarcastic if prodded by the righteous , but I haven't lost the ability to laugh and be passionate in between. If you're not too scarily busy and gymtastic a woman, and also not too serious about yourself, and I haven't said enough to put you off then come and share a bottle of wine one lunchtime and laugh at the lunacy of the world or cry at its shortcomings with me. Or just tell me my grammar is crap and I need more full stops.For what it's worth I've been told I bear a passing resemblance to Richard Dreyfuss - like he was at 60 I hope! I don't mind putting on a tie beyond the calls of weddings and funerals, but by inclination am a more casual dresser, though not in the tracksuit and white sock league yet. Finally and hopefully not frighteningly I'd say that I'm a tactile & carnivorous - or more exactly omnivorous person. Though "some of my best friends are vegans " and all that...

Ideal Partner:

I don't want to split up any marriages but I would like to meet an intelligent grounded lady, just one, in a similar place. To be unsettled by her, to have stimulating conversations with, and most important, share affection
