More Information

General
Here with a loaf of bread beneath the bough
A flask of wine a book of verse and thou
Beside me singing in the wilderness
And wilderness is paradise enow

That stanza from Omar Khayyam just about sums me up! I'm a warm, romantic, caring, generous, sensitive, adventurous, passionate, witty, fun person with a good heart(though I say so myself!) who could bring a smile to your lips and a song to your soul

In Myers Briggs terms (and if you don't know myers briggs google it and scroll down to personality pathways and then answer the 4 questions there to get your letters and then put those into google to see what it says) my nickname is the The Inspirer and my profile is ENFP and it sums up EXACTLY what I'm like (google that to get an idea)

I sing in two choirs, I go to opera, theatre, concerts (I've got a season ticket to the proms so I'm there most nights and you're welcome to join me but you'll have to stand up of course!), and art galleries as often as I can.

I love walking along the river and kew gardens and hope to get to the wetland centre in barnes soon

I'm a member of surrey wildlife trust and i'm so pleased that i went for a walk with them recently and heard the nightingale. My favourite bird is the lark and i love kingfishers too although i've only ever seen two

I support the lib dems (what's happened recently is a classic case of how it's better to travel hopefully than to arrive!), the howard league for penal reform (i've never managed to do very much about it but i do feel for young offenders, most of whom have had little chance in life in my opinion) and want to rejoin amnesty after seeing a very powerful fidelio at holland park recently

I'm a vegetarian (but nevertheless red blooded!). I just don't think it's right to kill animals for food if it's not necessary. And i've lost as stone as a result!

I run my own company which is a nightmare when it goes wrong but very rewarding when it goes right.

I love nature, the stars and everything romantic

Some of my favourite holidays are spent on Buddhist retreats where you meet the loveliest people possible, all wanting to learn and bond and come away with a great benefit to themselves as people who can make a difference in the world

I also love Venice (so romantic), andalusia and fuerteventura
My Appearance
I'm usually casual but enjoy being smart

I'm 11 stone 1o pounds and go to the gym 2-3 times a week (and not just for a sauna!)

I'm 5'9 tall and have brown hair and brown eyes (I love eyes!) and a small beard (must update photo!)

I;m reading We are all made of Glue at the moment (*very funny seqel to Two caravans), the last film I saw was Leaving with a wonderful performance from Kirsten Scott Thomas about just this sort of thing, I hope! - but I also hope with a happier ending!), my favourite poem at the moment is Keats A woman glimpsed on Vauxhall Bridge. My next opera will be Rigoletto
