General

I'm a self-employed consultant, working on my PhD part time. I'm divorced and moved to Manchester a few years ago, having been based down South for most of my life. My Northern credentials however are impeccable as I'm from Reykjavik! I spend a lot of my time overseas, and my work schedule and research doesn't leave much time for frequenting bars and clubs in the hope of meeting a like-mentioned individual, hence this site. I work very hard and want to make the most of my free time. I love exploring, whether it's a bedouin encampment in the desert, a new restaurant or the latest book on neuroscience. Good food and wine are important to me, and I enjoy the theatre, live music and the cinema. Being self-employed, my time is my own when I'm in the UK which means I'm fairly flexible.

My Appearance

I'm 5ft 4, with long blonde hair, green eyes and a warm smile (or so I'm told!) I can get into my size 10 jeans on a good day and have an hourglass figure. I'm not a gym bunny but I think keeping in shape is important, so I swim most days and do a lot of walking. Because of the nature of my work, I spend a lot of time in tailored suits and I love dressing up in really feminine clothes for a night out. I am however equally comfortable in jeans and boots!
