Extra-Marital Dating Site Provides Stealth Mobile Phone Software

Married dating service Illicit Encounters have teamed up with the leading mobile phone privacy software company Loky, to help tech-savvy cheaters hide calls and texts from their other half using a special stealth smartphone app. The software allows unfaithful spouses to keep clandestine contact details, texts and calls logged inside a code-protected program, completely hidden from the phone's public interface.

Most husbands get caught having an affair because of their mobile phone - a recent survey by IllicitEncounters.com revealed that 40% of men admitted being discovered cheating because of an illicit text or call.

The unique Loky software, which is provided in partnership with Illicit Encounters, is only accessible by a secret 4-digit password and there is not even a visible Loky icon on the phone. Once entered, it will reveal the app, which intercepts calls and text messages from private contacts, removing all traces of them from the phone's public interface. Users will be sent an innocuous dummy text message to their handset whenever they receive a text from an illicit contact. This dummy text could take the shape of sales or marketing spam.

Illicit Encounters spokeswoman Rosie Freeman-Jones said:

"Research shows that nearly 60% of women think it's perfectly acceptable to check their partner's mobile phones for inappropriate text messages and unknown numbers. Most women will even admit to their partners that they regularly check their phones."

"Even though most men are caught by their phones, they still persist in conducting their affairs in this way, with clear evidence showing on their handsets. We hope our partnership with Loky will serve to help these men keep their private lives truly private.

In addition to other features, the Loky app will also notify the phones owner how many unsuccessful PIN attempts have been made, meaning cheating partners will be able to tell whether their spouse has tried to access their phone. The app can also hide pictures and videos away from prying eyes.

The Loky software will be launched with Illicit Encounters in the UK next week (04/07/11) and is being offered free to all Gold+ and Platinum Members of the Illicit Encounters website. It is available for Android, Blackberry and Symbian phones.
