Hip-Hop Fans Destined to Cheat

Those with Jay-Z loving squeezes might want to keep a keen eye on them from now on; a UK dating site has released figures that show hip-hop fans are the most adulterous of all music lovers.

In a survey of 460,000 UK spouses, all of whom are currently cheating online, it was found that over a quarter declared hip-hop as their favourite musical genre, over rock, pop, classical, soul and R'n'B, dance, new age, Latin, and gospel music. The statistic may not come as a surprise to French Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger, who has been outed in recent weeks for his alleged affair with 30 year old rapper Sonia Tatar.

The research was conducted by extramarital dating website IllicitEncounters.com. The site claims that hip-hop fans are comfortable with the strong sexual content which forms a large part of mainstream hip-hop's rhetoric, and are therefore more relaxed and accepting of their own personal sexuality.

"Almost every husband or wife has, at some point considered the prospect of cheating", says Sara Hartley, site spokesperson. "But those who decide to turn their fantasies into reality generally have a more open-minded and strident attitude to their sexuality. As a genre, hip-hop has always delivered the most explicit lyrical content when it comes to sex, and listeners who aren't as comfortable recognising their own desires may find a lot of the content embarrassing or objectionable. It makes total sense to us why hip-hop would top the playlists of our members."

IllicitEncounters.com has 540,000 members across the UK.
